Friday 17th September 2010Christies Charity EventWe are hosting a charity auction evening in aid of Christies Hospital. There will be a raffle followed by a live auction to raise as much money as possible for this great local charity. Feel free to come along for a meal or even just a drink to support this event. Wednesday 13th October 2010Margaret River Wine Evening with Guest David HohnenOliver Haussels, our resident wine guru from Continental & Overseas Wines of Altrincham, will be joined by David Hohnen who was the founder of Cape Mentelle winery & was one of the pioneers in the Margaret River region of Western Australia in the early 1970's He also went on to found the iconic Cloudy Bay winery in New Zealand in the mid 1980's He will be talking about some fantastic wines such as 2008 Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon Margaret River & a 2006 Shiraz, Grenache & Mataro There will be some delicious canapes with each wine freshly prepared by our chefs Take a look at the full wine list & food by clicking the link below Tickets are only £14.95 per person so why not book your place now so you don't miss out on this rare opportunity to listen to a well-renowned wine producer from 7.30pm

DECEMBER 2010Christmas MenuThroughout December our Christmas menu will be available. You can click the link below to view a copy. This year, for a change, we thought that we would include turkey but there is also a slow cooked lamb shank, pan fried seabass or a delicious vegetarian tagine! We do ask that for bookings of eight or more we require a non refundable deposit of £10 per head & a pre-order to help us serve you as efficiently as possible Merry Christmas from all the team!

Sunday 26th December 2010Boxing DayWe will be serving our normal menu from 12pm until 8pm We recommend that you book your table as soon as possible! There may even be some turkey left!
Monday 27th to Tuesday 28th December 2010Christmas Bank HolidaysWe will be serving our normal menu from 12pm until 8pm You don't have to go to work so you might as well come & let us do the washing up for you!
Friday 31st December 2010New Years EveJoin us to celebrate the New Year with a special five course gourmet dinner accompanied by Jeremy Sassoon's Jazz, swing, blues & the great music of Ray Charles for only £40 per person. They will be playing from 8pm until midnight. Bookings are from 7pm. Bar open for drinkers as normal until 1am. Our menu will appear here soon.
Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd January 2011New YearHappy New Year from all the team! We will be serving food from 12pm until 8pm on New Years Day as well as Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday. Bookings are recommended
Tuesday 18th January 2011Wine Club Evening with Oliver HausselsOur resident wine professor, Oliver Haussels from C&O wines, will be returning to give us a tour of The Rhone. He will also be matching the wines with food prepared by our skilled chefs. The cost of the evening will include wine & tapas style food. If you have a particular favourite, there will also be an opportunity to buy the wines on the night. Please contact a member of the team to book your place.
